This popular course analyzes major changes to the National Electrical Code (NEC®) for this code cycle. In random order we will cover 58 of the most significant changes to the NEC, including Code-wide changes, new and revised definitions, new articles, and so much more. This course includes interpretations by enforcers of the code and illustrations that clearly identify each change and provides an explanation of the change.
This is an extensive and popular program analyzing the major changes to the NEC for the 2023 code cycle. Following the outline of the 2023 NEC Code Book, Part 1 of this 4-Part course covers the most significant changes beginning with Code-wide changes, followed by changes in Articles 90, 100, 110 and 200 up to Section 210.8(F) in the NEC for the 2023 code cycle. Our instructors, who are members of various CMPs, will analyze why these changes were necessary and how they will affect the industry going forward. The participant will leave with a solid understanding of changes made in accordance with the new NEC Style Manual, definition changes, revisions to previous requirements, new language and requirements added to the Code that enhance overall electrical safety.
